Hawkshead Courthouse
Hawkshead Courthouse was once part of a medieval manorial farm belonging to Furness Abbey. It has been in the care of the National Trust since it was gifted in 1932.

Hawkshead Hall and Old Courthouse
The Old Courthouse is thought to have been used as a courthouse, and is a Grade II listed building. Its origins and age are unknown. The current hall is much more recent.

Owned by the National Trust the Courthouse, on the north side of Hawkshead, dates from the fifteenth century. It was built by the Cistercian Monastery of Furness.
