Icebreaker on the canal

Elm Avenue, Galgate
Off Beech Avenue,(see Image), are several cul de sacs with tree names. Being off the main routes the road gritters don't come this far and the road was icy with compacted snow.

Leaving Lancaster Canal In Stile
The stile gives access from the canal towpath to a footpath which runs across to Condor Green. Not one of the dog-friendly ones.
