A council estate road, with warehouses in the distance. Whoever put the new road sign up did not take the old one down.

Former council houses, I think. The two inner doors of the block of four houses look to have their original canopies. The outer pair are interesting, like miniature porches.

Part of a 19C suburb, not far from the docks and warehouses. The nicely carved door lintel in the foreground suggests that they were good quality houses.

The Victoria Hotel is situated at the junction of West Road and Willow Lane in a predominantly residential area, less than 0.5 miles to the west of Lancaster city centre. This former public house was due to be sold at public auction in December 2013.
