Williamson Road, Lancaster
Houses for Williamson's factory workers. James Williamson made a fortune from making linoleum. Even these terrace houses have wide chimneys with lots of pots. It seems to be a Lancaster speciality.

Bartlett Hall, Williamson Road, Lancaster
An extension dated 1912 over the doorway (although the hall was opened in 1894) behind the Henry Gregson Institute, Moor Lane.

The Henry Gregson Institute Moor Lane Lancaster
Henry Gregson died on 2 Sep. 1885 aged 85. His Ghost reputedly still haunts the rooms of his memorial building, the Gregson Centre, Lancaster, which was built with funds raised by Christ Church Vicarage, designed by Austin & Paley, and was opened in 1890. The church sold it in 1983 to the Freehold Community Association Charity. Henry had purchased the land for the building of Christ Church, and laid the foundation stone in 1855. Moor Lane Mill South, Moor Lane, Lancaster
Former steam-powered cotton mill. Built c1826 for Samuel Greg & Co, its distinctive tower was added c1900 (Image]). Grade II listed.

The water tower, Moor Lane Mill South, Lancaster
