Snow on cobbles, a Moorlands back alley, Lancaster
Light snow is falling but there is just enough residual heat in the stone cobbles to melt it and create an interesting lattice pattern. The twin spires of Image can be seen beyond the alley.

OS Bench Mark
OS cut bench mark from the 20th century levelling, on gatepost of former entrance to Crosslands House. 33.272 m above datum. The building is now demolished and the gateway blocked up. The bench mark was completely hidden by ivy.
