Lancaster - High Street Cottage
This unusual little castellated cottage dates from the late C18th. It is at the southern end of High Street before is swings to the west. Note that unlike in many towns and villages, High Street, Lancaster is far from being one of the major streets of the town, though possibly it was of more importance in years gone by. EH listing for the Grade II cottage here http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1194995
