Millennium Bridge
Lancaster's Millennium Bridge viewed at low tide through one of the arches of an old railway bridge, which now carries a cycleway. The railway line used to connect Green Ayre (demolished c.1970) and Castle (west coast main line) stations. The railway bridge crosses what was originally a loop of the River Lune but was probably filled before the railway was built.
