Dating from 1535, Thorns Hall is a small manor house now owned by HF Holidays as a base for walking breaks.
The house retains its historic charm with cosy public rooms, wood panelling and open fires. It has 24 en-suite bedrooms, some in the main hall and others in converted outbuildings.

Pedge Croft, Sedbergh
Pedge Croft is a farmstead on the A683 on the eastern edge of Sedbergh. Here we are looking north across meadows on the north bank of the River Rawthey. The fells in the distance are the southern slopes of the Howgills.
