Liverpool Women's Hospital
The Liverpool Women's Hospital was officially
opened by H.R.H. The Princess
of Wales in November 1995. The 30 million pound hospital for women and babies brought together in one facility the services previously provided in Liverpool Maternity Hospital; The Women's Hospital and Mill Road Hospital. These buildings had serious limitations due to their age in providing a modern health service.
