19 Abercromby Square, Liverpool
An especially opulent town house, wider and taller than its neighbours in the square. The centre is emphasised by a Doric porch and pedimented window. Built 1862-63 to the designs of William Culshaw. Grade II listed. The original patron was C.K. Prioleau, a businessman from South Carolina, later it served as the Bishop's Palace, and now it is owned by the University of Liverpool. Bridge over Oxford Street.
This bridge links the Senate House and the Oliver Lodge Laboratory of the University of Liverpool. The lower floor of the bridge contains offices while the upper floor is the Physics Department's tea room. The bridge is right in the southwestern corner of SJ3690, but clearly inside it according to Get-a-Map.

Chadwick Laboratory, Peach Street, Liverpool
By Basil Spence, 1957-59. A flush facade with rounded corners, whose painted concrete and grey mosaic cladding "have not aged well" (Pevsner). Out of shot to the right is a low block containing laboratories and lecture theatres - this houses the University of Liverpool's Physics Department and is named, presumably, in honour of James Chadwick, discoverer of the neutron and erstwhile professor of physics at Liverpool.

19-27 Abercromby Square, Liverpool
The north side of the "most complete survival" of early C19th housing in the area (Pevsner). The square has been entirely colonised by the University of Liverpool. It was laid out by John Foster senior, Liverpool Corporation's Surveyor, and built between 1819 and 1830. The houses are each of two or three bays and three storeys plus basement, with pilaster doorcases and wrought-iron balconies. The centre of the terrace is emphasised by a Greek Doric porch. It includes a couple of very good individual town houses (Image] and Image]). Grade II listed.
