This has been the Agricultural Club for many years, dispensing refreshment to its members.

Ormskirk Dispensary
or the Farmer's Club as it now is, endorsed by the Campaign for Real Ale.The building was opened in 1830 by a Dr Brandreth and is one of the more handsome buildings in the town.

Pillars on Burscough Street, Ormskirk
The first building was built as offices for the local newspaper in the late 1980s but they moved out some years ago. The second set of pillars belong to the FarmersClub, the former dispensary, dating from 1830 and a Grade II listed building.

43 Burscough Street
Dominating the view up Burscough Street, this former town house and later council offices has been a grade II listed building since the 1950s. Its size and position make it almost impossible to photograph from the front. It is now known as Walter Brown House after a local councillor.
