Burscough Street, Ormskirk
Burscough Street and Burscough Road (from where this picture is taken) used to be continuous but since the opening of a trading estate (just off to the left) they have been separated by an offset roundabout which is marginally too small for articulated lorries to negotiate and an utter pain to cross on foot! Still, it looks nice in the snow.

Hattersley House, Ormskirk.
Taken from exactly the same spot as Image An office and trading estate now occupies the open area of the earlier photo which was the site of the former Hattersley foundry. The new development is certainly an improvement visually.

Waiting for the developers
The site of a former factory has been cleared, a small mountain of bricks at the back. Currently a flatpack trading estate is nearing completion on the site.
