Chindit plaque, Proctor Road, public footpath, Formby
The 13th battalion King's Liverpool regiment were stationed in Harrington Barracks prior to embarkation to central India, and march into Burma, 1943. The location is on the site of the guardroom; also commemorates the 1st battalion King's in 1944 expedition.
