Bowring Park at Court Hey Avenue
The original entrance to Bowring Park from Court Hey Avenue before it was cut in half by Junction 5 of the M62, decimating the main part of the park and leaving small strips of mature woodland separated by busy roads.

Derby Lodge Hotel, Roby
Quite a grand building, an improvement on many of the travel inns and with views of the golf course from its gardens and less than 30mins from the city centre and airport, it's a good place to stay when visiting Liverpool.

M62 motorway - junction 5 bridges
Junctions 4-6 on the M62 were constructed a year later than the section between junction 6-10. Junction 5's bridges are to a noticeably different design compared to other junctions, omitting the central pillar which was by the early 1970s considered a collision/collapse hazard.
