9-17 Lord Nelson Street, Liverpool
The near building was the Owenite Hall of Science, built in 1840, presumably by Robert Owen as a centre for working class education (there was also one in Manchester). It is now flats. Grade II listed. Beyond is an early-C19th terrace. Grade II listed.

Seymour Street
Seymour Street at its junction with London Road, the old Lloyd's Bank building on the corner. Seymour Terrace is a development of 26 Georgian properties which were some of the first architecturally interesting buildings to be saved from the bulldozer and renovated in the 1970's. They are now mainly offices and businesses.
