Part of the University of Liverpool. Built 1962-65 to the designs of Yorke, Rosenberg & Mardell, and clad in glazed white tiles. Like a neat white box, all flush above the recessed ground floor. The main block is connected to three smaller annexes.

Old St Helen's bus on Mount Pleasant
This preserved bus was chartered as part of a weekend to celebrate 50 years of the Liverpool University Public Transport Society, formed as the result of a chance remark overheard in the old Students' Union - the older brick and stone building in the background.
