A mysterious building
Substantially built it did not appear to have been designed as a dwelling. The large doors at both ends didn't fit with an old telephone exchange.

Vyrnwy Aqueduct Valve House
This is a valve house for the Vyrnwy Aqueduct, a 68 mile long underground pipe which takes water from manmade Lake Vyrnwy in North Wales to supply the city of Liverpool. A massive Victorian engineering project which commenced in 1881, when completed it was the longest aqueduct in the world. It is still in use today, finishing at Prescot service reservoirs in Eccleston.
