Choose your motorway now
The revised layout between the M62 and M57 at junction 6 includes direct east-north connections between the two motorways. Ahead, the M62 drops a lane to feed the 270 degree curve to the northbound M57. The westbound slip road from junction 6 restores the third westbound lane.

Old slip road
This is the remains of the old slip road from Tarbock Island onto the M62 westbound; a new alignment has been created as part of the remodelling of the junction to allow easier access between the M62 and the M57.

The embankment carries the realigned access slip road from tarbock Island to the M62 westbound. This passes over the new slip road (not yet open) from the M62 to the M57.
