Prescot from Carr Lane Playing fields
Looking over the playing fields bordered by Carr Lane and Wood Lane to the spire of St Mary's church, Prescot. In the foreground, recently planted saplings along the new cyclepath on Carr Lane which was once a dead end (and a bit of a lover's lane!) but has recently been opened as a bypass and access road for the busy Cables Retail Park. A car park has been provided for the fishing pond and the whole area given a new lease of life.
