Most Holy Redeemer and St Kentigern RC Chapel
The unusual outward appearance of this chapel with its brick belfry and timber framed porch far more resembles a school than a church, in fact the building also served as a school. In 1900 the foundation stone was laid and the chapel was dedicated to St Kentigern, Bishop of Glasgow, reflecting the roots of the original congregation, many of them Catholic migrant workers from Glasgow.
