Waddicar Lane, Melling
Waddicar and Melling are two villages now squeezed between the towns of Kirkby and Maghull. Although Kirkby is closer, this area is in Sefton and more closely associated with Maghull, and the old Post Office sign states that the PO is Waddicar, Maghull. The Post Office and village shop still survive.
