Aintree and Bootle from the air
The racecourse is towards the lower left corner, near the end of the M57 which is at the centre, near the bottom of the photo. Bootle, the Mersey and the Wirral can also be seen through the thin layer of cloud. Viewed from a Heathrow bound flight from Glasgow.
