The Royal Oak, Warren House Road, Blundellsands
The Royal Oak was one of the first buildings in a place called Brighton, shown on the 1850 OS map, although it was evidently rebuilt after 1891 (the building was at an angle to the road on the OS map of that date). Brighton later became Brighton-le-Sands, but the Royal Oak is in Blundellsands, just north of the boundary.
