Monument in Moorside Park
This monument is in memory of Laurence Johnson who was born in Moorside Farm, the site of Moorside Park.
Laurence Johnson became a catholic priest in France, came to Lancashire as a missionary,was arrested and hanged, drawn and quartered in London on 30th May 1582.
