Crosby Windmill
Situated in Moor Lane. Built 1813 and converted into a residence some years ago. Unusually the stumps of the sail stocks are still bolted in place on the windshaft.

Monument in Moorside Park
This monument is in memory of Laurence Johnson who was born in Moorside Farm, the site of Moorside Park. Laurence Johnson became a catholic priest in France, came to Lancashire as a missionary,was arrested and hanged, drawn and quartered in London on 30th May 1582.
