Thornton Stocks
It is believed that stocks were present here before 1725 and the present set were placed here in 1791.

Sundial and Stocks
Another view of this old sundial and stocks located in Thornton.
It is believed that the sundial was erected here prior to 1720 and that it replaced a 13th Century wayside cross. Stocks were present here before 1725 and the present set were placed here in 1791.
