Kitty Macs, Window Lane, Garston
Kitty Macs, formerly the Lord Raglan public house in Window Lane, Garston. Now closed, it is one of the few original buildings of this 1860's housing development not to have been demolished. A large gasometer of Garston Gasworks can be seen in the background.

St Michael's Church, Garston
St Michael's Church at Garston was built 1875-7 and is now wedged between a huge gasometer and a railway line (Image]). It stands next to the site of an 18th century chapel, which in turn replaced one of at least 1225 dedicated to St Winifred. It is a Grade II listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 213905 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-213905-church-of-st-michael- British Listed Buildings).
