Speke Airport
An Armstrong-Whitworth Argosy belonging to Air Bridge Carriers parked on the tarmac at the old Liverpool Airport. The hangar on the left has long since disappeared whilst the building behind has been refurbished - see Image The Argosy, G-BEOZ, was withdrawn from service in 1987 and is currently on display at the East Midlands Airport Aeropark.

Former Aircraft Hangar, Speke
The spectacular transformation of this 1930's aircraft hangar at the old Speke airport into an office building has landed a top business award. It is adjacent to the Marriot Hotel which has taken over the original airport terminal.
