'The Bower House' 90-92 Main Street, Lower Largo
On the face of things, there's nothing particularly remarkable about this house, but it is in fact an early 18th century building, albeit much altered and updated over the years. It was Category C listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200341229-lower-largo-90-92-main-street-bower-house-leven-kennoway-and-largo-ward#.W2XMfNQrLGh in 1984.

Cottages along the Main Street in Lower Largo
This cottage is built on the site of the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk in 1676, who provided inspiration for Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe. A statue and plaque on the front of the cottage dates from 1885.
