Snowy road in Methil
The storm of late February 2018 (known as 'The Beast from the East') left Methil well-covered with snow for a few days. This is the junction of High Street and Methil Brae.

Site of Methil station
The station on the Wemyss and Buckhaven Railway was situated here. There was a dispute with the Wemyss Estate who unhappy with the coal hauling services of the North British Railway went and built their own line to Methil Docks.

St Andrews Square, nos 313 - 338 High Street, Lower Methil
A terrace of 12 houses, built in the early 20th century by the local authority, very much reflecting a 17th century style in the general construction and architectural details. The whole terrace was collectively Category C listed https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB46074 in 1999.
