The Braes Loan Trail
The trail here is also the access road to the isolated house of North Lodge (behind the camera). The building visible was previously a derelict barn but is now a private house.

The Braes Loan Trail
This junction of tracks marks where the Braes Loan Trail turns south. It isn't any of the obvious tracks - it's the faint grassy path in the centre of the image. A signpost points the way.
