Stob Cross
A centuries-old incised stone cross which possibly marked the limit of an ancient sanctuary enclosure. It may have been associated with an early Christian church near here which was dedicated to the 7th or 8th century St Drostan.

The Stob Cross near Markinch
I hope I have managed to pinpoint the location of this centuries-old cross accurately. It is believed to have marked the sanctuary boundary of the early Christian church dedicated to St. Drostan who lived in the 7th or 8th century AD.
