Architectural variations
Details of some of a group of fourteen concrete columns forming the public art work known as 'Heritage' in Glenrothes Town Park. Each column represents a different architectural style from an earlier culture such as Aztec, Egyptian, Greek, Inca and Roman. 'Heritage' is a work by Town Artist David Harding and was erected in 1976. The hill in the background is East Lomond.

Thirsty hippopotami
Six hippos, emerging from the River Leven and looking for a pool to drink from, make an unusual sight in this Glenrothes park. These concrete animals, made from a mould designed in the early 1970s by Stanley Bonnar (an art student at the time, who later became Town Artist of East Kilbride) were located here by Glenrothes Town Artist David Harding in 1976.

Road works, Glenrothes
Part of the redevelopment of the town centre Image North Street is closed at both ends but the middle part is still accessible through the car park behind the Kingdom Centre allowing businesses there to keep trading.

Horse and Chariot
Originally located in Caskieberran, a residential area of Glenrothes, this sculpture of a horse and chariot has been moved several times and has changed colour too. It is currently located in the middle of a busy roundabout beside a Lidl supermarket and here the Fife Council buildings can be seen in the background.
