The Lochgelly Miner
Controversial work of art depicting a mineworker, the former miners institute is in the background, most people who write to the local paper expressing their dislike of the statue feel their comments are validated by stating how many years they worked underground so following that trend i can say that i worked at the coal face for over twenty years and personally I think it is a brilliant piece of art.

Field, Lochgelly
No longer in agricultural use, but scheduled and fenced, for house building. The fence has been there some time, perhaps work was halted when the bankers nearly took out the economy around 2008, but there are signs of renewed activity.
