Pointless Gate?
Here we have a gate, plus a 'kissing' gate, but no actual requirement for it. Inspection of old maps shows that the large field to the south used to be two separate fields.

Footpath to Fordell
This footpath follows the line of an old tramway which served the former Prathouse Coal Pit. The tramway linked into the Fordell railway which ran down to St David's harbour.
