Hillside School used to be called 'St John Bosco's' when it was categorised as a 'List-D' approved school and was run by the Salesian order of priests. Now called 'Hillside School' and with a new management. One of the thirty or so residential special schools in Scotland. About two-thirds of the children in Scotland’s residential special schools have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and the other third have complex sensory needs. Hawkcraig Road in Aberdour. This photograph was taken whilst standing on Main Street at the beginning of Hawkcraig Road. Aberdour is a village on the South Coast of Fife.

This fine display of poppies caught my eye just outside Aberdour.

Ayrshire cattle, not as numerous as they once were, grazing at Humbie. View over the Firth of Forth to Inchcolm and the Braefoot oil terminal.

This bridge crosses the Fife circle railway line on the edge of the eastern portion of Aberdour.

Entering Aberdour
