Gas terminal, Braefoot Bay
A view towards the gas terminal at Braefoot Bay in Fife. This is a base for the export of liquefied petroleum gas piped to the site from the nearby Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran.

Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal
The terminal is used to export liquefied petroleum gas which is produced at Mossmorran near Cowdenbeath.

Braefoot Marine Terminal
Liquid gas from the North Sea is piped to Mossmorran Imagesome 6km north of here. There it is broken down to form ethane and converted into ethylene, a basic hydrocarbon 'building block' of the petrochemical industry. These products are piped to the Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal and loaded into tankers and gas carriers for markets on the European continent and in the USA.
