Black Sands Aberdour
Small picturesque beach much enjoyed by locals and visitors on a pleasant summer’s day. Known as the Black Sands as during the years of coal cargoes the coal dust discoloured the rocks. The next beach round the corner is known as the Silver Sands.

Small picturesque beach much enjoyed by locals and visitors. This was also a favourite place in Victorian times when paddle steamers stopped here on their excursions.

A picturesque little beach much enjoyed by locals and visitors on a pleasant summer’s day. In Victorian times pleasure steamers called here and it became a major tourist attraction. It became known as The Jewel in the Fife Riviera.
