Burntisland from The Binn
The Binn is a volcanic plug that rises sharply to a height of 193 metres above the town of Burntisland.

West Burntisland and The Binn
The red patch on the shore line is the "red mud" left from the extraction of alumina from bauxite. The "aluminium works" as it was known was built in 1917 and closed in 2002. The site of the factory, the lighter patch to the right has been cleared and a large housing development is being built. The Binn in the background is a volcanic plug.

Old Distillery Warehouse
The last remaining warehouse of the Grange Distillery, which ceased production in 1927. However, the warehouses remained in use until 1987. The others were demolished c.1990, leaving this survivor.
