McDonald's drive-thru, Central Retail Park, Chapel Park, Kirkcaldy
second of three McDonald's in Kirkcaldy (or lang toun for that matter) a very popular branch among local people, alongside the KFC, the car park is often jam-packed and there is always usually a queue in the drive-thru lane (even on a Monday!) the planners never realised how busy this would be and they should have built a bigger branch the McDonald's was built between Jan and April 1997. the branch underwent a small extension to include another drive-thru window, adjacent to the drive-thru lane to the left c. late 2000, but has remained more or less intact since it opened.
