Demolition site, Falkland
Seen from East Loan the St John's Works was built just after the First World War on the site of a previous cotton mill. It originally produced linoleum and latterly paper bags https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/st-johns-works-falkland-fife-march-2016.t102639. All commercial activity ceased here in 2013 and Fife Regional Council have zoned the site, which extends to some nine acres, as a future housing development https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/local/fife/335492/historic-falkland-factory-demolition-due-for-february-completion/ See Falkland article http://www.geograph.org.uk/article/Falkland-An-historic-village
