Fife Coastal Path (Seafield Road)
This is arguably the least attractive stretch of the Fife Coastal Path. The long distance path has been routed inland to skirt the new Morrisons supermarket. Picnic area at Seafield, Kirkcaldy
Formerly an area of waste ground, after an upgrade by the local authority in 2014, this picnic and leisure area (which has great views across the Forth estuary and access to a good beach), lies at the southern end of Kirkcaldy Esplanade behind a new supermarket. Fife Coastal Path heads south from here Image

Messy gull!
A herring gull surveys the mess it's made from the bin beside the car park at Seafield Beach. An hour later someone (probably from the Council) had cleared it all up.
