Kirkcaldy High Street - former Commercial Bank
This five-bay, three-storey building is described by Historic Scotland as an early 19th century former bank building, now a tenement. The ground floor is occupied by a shop called Eloise, and Costa Coffee. Listed category B (LB36333).
Beyond the old bank building is BHS (British Home Stores), now closed. See Image for when it was open.
The high street was surprisingly deserted at around 7.30pm on a warm Friday evening, but see Image for a Saturday afternoon view.

This is a historic building that the M&S store has occupied since opening in 1937. The building was once the site of the former Kirkcaldy Town House and Clock from 1827-1935.
