Landale family gravestone
Gravestone of James Landale and family in the old kirkyard in Kirkcaldy. His son David (d.1861), listed fourth on the stone, won the last fatal duel fought in Scotland. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6345765.stm

Churchyard - Old Kirk
Standing on the oldest site of Christianity in the town, and the principal place of worship since 1244, the Old Kirk stands today as a symbol of Christian heritage in Kirkcaldy. The Kirk was closed as a place of worship by the Church of Scotland on 7th November 2010, and now belongs to the Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust, who maintain it for community use as a concert hall, community resource, heritage centre and for continuing worship. The churchyard contains graves of many of the notable traders and businessmen of the town.

Kirkcaldy Old Kirk
Kirkcaldy Old Kirk is the site of the first Christian worship in Kirkcaldy. Celtic missionaries brought their faith here in the 5th century. The first written record of the Kirk is in 1244. The ancient tower dates from the 15th century. It was closed as a place of worship and is now maintained by The Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust for community use as a concert hall, heritage centre and for continuing worship.

Kirk Wynd and Kirkcaldy Old Kirk

Hendry Hall, Kirk Wynd
Dated 1890, and built as church hall, session house and beadle's house. The building was a gift of linoleum manufacturer, Daniel Hendry, and was opened on 4th February 1891. It is Category B listed.
