Pill box
A pill box on the SE corner of what was RNAS Crail/HMS Jackdaw.
The box stands right on the top edge of a raised beach.
The station along with others on the other side of the Forth protected the Fleet base at Rosyth and the bridge.
They were helped by the Chain Home station at Troy Wood just inland.

Micro Lodges
Alongside the residential caravans in Sauchope Caravan Park, Crail, these odd-looking oversized dog kennels have recently appeared. They are described as 'an alternative to camping' and each of them can sleep up to four in basic bunk accommodation.
