Slipping coastal path
This is the bit of the Fife Coastal Path that emerges onto West Braes road in Crail. In February 2022 this part of the path slipped by a few feet, taking a lot of the steps with it and opening a deep chasm. The coastal path was re-directed and this part blacked.

The landslip, five months later
Update on Image: The entrance to the coastal path at the west end of Crail, five months after the landslip made that part unpassable. It has been blocked now for four months. As a result, this patch of land has turned into an accidental wilderness.
