Built around 1810, and Category C listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380906-22-east-green-anstruther-easter-kilrenny#.XT2ndehKjcs in 1972. The blue plaque records that the house sits on the site of a previous cottage, which was the birthplace of Lt Andrew Waid of the Royal Navy, whose legacy led to the foundation of the Waid Academy school in Anstruther in 1886, some 80 years after his death.
