St Fillan's Cave, Pittenweem
A former sea cave in sandstone, now lifted far above sea level by isostatic uplift. It is associated with several saints as well as St Fillan and still used for services on occasions.

St Fillans Cave, Pittenweem
The first chamber of the cave. St Fillan was one of the many holy men sent out by the invading Scots to convert us natives to Christianity.
He is supposed to have lived and worked for some time in this very fine looking cave with the help of a luminous left arm but he is holding up his right arm in the picture?
