The Camps Bar
This part of Wick is called The Camps, the name coming from Oliver Cromwell's encampments from which he proceeded to invade Sinclair and Girnigoe castles. The Bar was the first public house in Wick to reopen in 1947 after 25 years of prohibition under the Temperance (Scotland) Act.
