A view over Thurso
The huge ex-St Andrew's Church dominates the view. Built in 1875 as the First Free Church, later to become the First United Free Church and then St Andrew's. Became Church of Scotland in 1929. Amalgamated with the nearby St Peter's which became St Peter's and St Andrew's. The original St Andrew's was subsequently closed in 1968. Category B listed but has been substantially modified internally for alternative uses.

The Cave, Thurso
This shop in Thurso sells a selection of comic book related and other youth trend items. I have only been in once but it seems very well run and has proved to be a lasting business.
